Prince Edward County Free Methodist Church
exists to equip people to be fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
We do that through:
WORSHIP - DISCIPLESHIP - FELLOWSHIP - MINISTRY - EVANGELISM
WHAT IS PECFMC?
PECFMC is not just a place; it's much more than a building. It is a collective of people who desire an intimate relationship with God. There are people in all different stages of their spiritual journey. It is a diverse community of people with different backgrounds, personalities, ideas and visions, united by a relationship with Jesus Christ.
PECFMC is a family. We are brought together out of our desire to have a relationship with God and a desire to know him better. We hang out together, worship together and learn together. Our mission is that we all become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
We are committed to the authority of the Bible and to the life of the Spirit. We seek to allow God to shape our whole lives - attitudes, thoughts and relationships. We seek to help people find new life in Christ and to live lives of loving integrity.
We are also committed to the great biblical principle that all believers are participants in God's purposes. We are eager to help people discover how they can know God and serve others in meaningful ways and so bring about tranformation in our world.
We believe that a great commitment to the Great Commandment and the Great Commission will grow a great church!
The Great Commandment:
"Jesus said, 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart...soul...and mind. This is the first and greatest commandement. And the second is like it: Love your neighbour as yourself. All the Law and Prophets hang on these two commandments.'"

The Great Commission:
"Jesus said, 'Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.'"
